I’m Nikhil
I am Nikhil Haksar.
I finished my bachelor’s degree in computational/applied math and economics at The University of Chicago.
I like econometrics and big data. I enjoy using my econometric/engineering toolkit and leveraging firms' big data to help their businesses make navigate regulatory processes and strategic decisions. I took a variety of graduate coursework at UChicago, including the PhD course on antitrust economics and the PhD course on structural econometrics, and I also wrote on the economics of data rights/cost allocation.
I take great pleasure from encountering and resolving new technical challenges. I love learning and I love coding; it brings me great joy to watch people learn from me as well. In my free time, I enjoy cycling, espresso, and reading (particularly fantasy and literature).
